Join SmithConnector

Welcome to your first step to joining your online alumni community. For security purposes, to log in for the first time, you will need your unique SmithConnector identifier number (ID Number). You can locate this number by:

(1) Looking directly above your name on the mailing label of your Smith Business magazine (If it's not a
10-digit number, be sure to add zero(s) at the beginning)

(2) Calling the Alumni Relations Office at (301) 405.4095 and requesting your SmithConnector ID number

(3) By emailing smithconnector@rhsmith.umd.edu with the following information: (a) your full name, (b) your graduation year, (c) your degree, (d) your birth year (for security purposes), (e) a contact telephone number. If you choose to email us, please allow 48 hours for a response. Login as first-time user.

Once you are authenticated in the system, you will be asked to create a new password as a returning user.

You will then be prompted to complete your online profile. It is extremely crucial to the success of your online community to complete all information fields, including your business contact information. Remember, your alumni community is only as valuable as the information you provide. In order to make this a valuable resource for everyone, please complete all information fields in your profile, including business contact information.
